Lodging: Comfort, Style, and Location
Your accommodations are carefully selected to support both comfort and the flow of the journey, with two distinct settings that reflect different sides of Brazil’s coastal culture.
In Rio de Janeiro, you’ll stay at an oceanfront resort with private beach access, sweeping views, and a relaxed, resort-style atmosphere. While this location is more secluded, all transportation to dining, cultural sites, and nightlife is professionally arranged for ease and convenience.
In Búzios, you’ll enjoy a more walkable seaside setting, close to shops, restaurants, and local beaches, offering a charming, village-style experience.
Across both locations, we partner with well-appointed, gay-friendly properties known for comfort, service, and hospitality.
Expect:
Well-designed rooms with modern amenities
Attentive, professional hotel service
Private beach access in Rio and walkable coastal charm in Búzios
Seamless transportation throughout the journey
Welcoming environments that support both privacy and connection
Excursions: Culture, Nature, and Iconic Rio Landmarks
Our curated excursions blend culture, nature, and adventure — immersing you in both the iconic and everyday sides of Rio de Janeiro — from world-renowned landmarks and scenic viewpoints to vibrant neighborhoods, beach culture, and natural landscapes.
Highlights include:
Visits to Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf Mountain
Participation in samba culture, including a samba school visit and traditional samba circles
Beach time along Rio’s famous coastline, including opportunities to experience local gay beach culture
Nature excursions in Tijuca National Park and coastal regions
A boat trip to Arraial do Cabo, with opportunities for swimming and snorkeling in crystal-clear waters
Opportunities to engage with Brazilian gay culture
Each experience is thoughtfully selected to foster a deep connection with the city and its people, while creating meaningful, shared memories with fellow travelers.
Nightlife & Brazilian Gay Culture: Experiencing Rio After Dark
Rio’s nightlife is an important part of the city’s LGBTQ+ culture — a place where people gather, express themselves, and build community.
As part of this international gay group tour, you’ll have opportunities to experience Rio after dark in a thoughtful, supported way, including:
Visits to well-known gay bars and clubs that are central to the local LGBTQ+ scene
Hosted evenings at select venues, with access to private VIP lounge areas reserved for our group
Social gatherings that balance music, conversation, and relaxed connection
Opportunities to engage respectfully with local LGBTQ+ spaces and communities
Each evening is carefully planned in partnership with trusted local venues and thoughtfully hosted by our team. With reserved group spaces and on-site support, you can enjoy Rio’s nightlife with confidence, comfort, and ease. Participation is always optional, allowing you to engage in ways that feel right for you.
Community & Connection: Travel That Brings People Together
CAKO tours are built on the understanding that meaningful relationships and friendships are one of life’s greatest sources of joy — and that travel becomes richer when it’s shared.
Throughout the journey, participants take part in thoughtfully designed group experiences that support connection, reflection, and genuine conversation. These include shared meals, informal gatherings, and cultural activities that naturally bring people together.
There is never pressure to participate in everything. Whether you’re outgoing or more reserved, traveling solo or with friends, you’re invited to engage at your own pace. Our environment is shaped by years of experience facilitating men’s groups and is designed to support authentic connection in ways that feel comfortable and real.
